Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A freak accident while working with his Baker father left him crippled. Being a Laborer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: This man tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Don enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Don reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing his hectic life and new jeweler responsibilities is difficult

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is dressed in earthy colors with a yellow and green handkerchief worn on his right side. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: Bernard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and expand his business

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Charles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he feels threatened by others

Description: This man stands a little under 6'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of dire rats
