History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in William's homeland. William decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many brigands want him driven away

His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Manfred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Manfred. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
