Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Roger was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Roger's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Roger and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
