Description: He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and carries swords. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Born in the north to a Bookbinder, Lewis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: An older man who wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with blue lining and desert motifs, he is not a threatening figure. His brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker blue hat.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Gilbert and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gilbert discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gilbert fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Marshal for hire.
Motivation: To protect his home; and to be a fisher again
