Personality: Adelard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Adelard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Performer, but he was a colossal failure. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
