Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: An older man who wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, he is not a threatening figure. His blonde hair is lengthy. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Hugh enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
