Personality: He is fixated on the number 8. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is wearing a long, black cloak. His white hair is long and unkept. He has amber eyes.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theobald grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theobald. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Description: A 5'5" western man, he wears suspenders and violet workpants. His shirt is grey, and he wears a heavy violet leather apron most of the time. He is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around his ears. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: He wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a hammer, but if one is not available he will default to his glaive, and carries glaives. His white hair is matted, messy, and big. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to protect his home
