History: Heward lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Carpenter, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carpenter and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Chad was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and wants to work out more often

History: He was born in the west. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He takes great joy in being the best Doctor in town.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A gifted student he started as a Fortune-teller, but he got bored and became a Doctor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and wants to work out more often
