After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to goblins.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is a Mercenary first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Mercenary business.

History: Adelard was born the youngest of three triplets. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mercenary. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He's also a talented Body Guard, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Hunter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
