History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has worked as a Miner like his father before him.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Herbalist business.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roland was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
