History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Don fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Roland was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Bertram began to lead the lost caravan.
