History: Shane was born the youngest of three triplets. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Lance lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
