History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has worked as a Ruler like his father before him.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered gnolls who tried to eat his hand. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and to end his boredom

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down
