History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cory embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Everard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his father's many stories. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has worked as a Hunter like his mother before him.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality
