Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Everard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich western family. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Thomas is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a black tunic with white highlights, and long grey pants that bunch up around his shoes. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Gunter hails from a village terrorized by brigands. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears dark leathers with embroidery, and is pretty ugly. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.
