History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Roger never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: Gomory speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gomory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born into a rich family. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
