History: He was born in a small island village. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Raymond alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to goblins.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Shepherd, and he later adopted a second son.
