History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Bertram hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. Gerald enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and money/treasure

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He got into the Dyer business at a young age. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
