History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: He is a husky man, who wears dark leathers with embroidery. His silver hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. This brown eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is greedy; and to reunite with his old friends
