Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he is greedy

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.
