Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Bertram is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Tailor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and revenge

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kody does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Kody lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Servant, but he got bored and became a Navigator. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Servant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: William was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Marshal, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Performer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Performer responsibilities is difficult.
