Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
