He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Nicholas speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Robert was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
