History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable
