History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Aldous will drive conversation. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He prefers to wear brown clothing when he does not wear armor. He keeps his chestnut hair in a flapper bob. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Gifted from a young age, Clerebold studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Clerebold grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Clerebold. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and wants to work out more often

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has styled his blonde hair well, parting it to the left. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He takes great joy in being the best Locksmith in town.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Locksmith arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born in the east. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
