History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Nicholas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
