Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Rolf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He became a Guard soon after.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and to reunite with his old friends

His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears his blonde hair down. He has hazel eyes and a grey hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Body Guard, but he got bored and became a Sellsword. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sellsword for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Ernest lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: He is greedy.
