History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Alex was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carpenter. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is a Scribe first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now owns his own business.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
