History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has achieved small success as a Ruler.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears black painted combat armor at almost all times, and is pretty ugly. He has done his best to style his white hair to look like a famous performer. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was born in the north. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, and he perpetually has his sai ready. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a Marshal, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
