When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Crown-heir, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Robert hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Crown-heir, and he later adopted a second son.
