History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Anselm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Theodoric hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and money/treasure

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Wymar was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: The child of a Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Roland was taken on many hunting expeditions. He worked as a nervous Navigator and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.
