Personality: Rolf hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and revenge

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Percival was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Spice Merchant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he feels kind of lost in life
