Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Ralf was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
