History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Tim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His childhood dream was to be a Doctor, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Laborer.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has achieved small success as a Marshal.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and to share knowledge with the world
