History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Roger was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's also a talented Crown-heir, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
