His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A freak accident while working with his Merchant mother left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
