History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is a Bowyer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the west to a Bowyer, Lance learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His first spouse was a Scribe, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to pay off his debts

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions
