Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Patrick lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He tends to his Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a shield on his belt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'3" when asserting himself. His chestnut hair is knotted and matted. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is afraid of women and trembles around them
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Miles's homeland. Miles decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are likewise green.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Balimaar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he's looking for his big break

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'4". He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and his gloved hand is found clutching a bow. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the right. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Aldous speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He became a Mortician soon after.
Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he wants to get laid
