History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Through the years after Shane was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shane's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Raymond never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
