History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Don was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Simon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
