History: He got into the Gardener business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Charles grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Charles. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Gardener for the past few years.

History: He was born in the east. Bertram was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bounty Hunter. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born in a small forest village. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
