History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. During his travels, Gerald and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gerald discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gerald fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Don was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Nicholas has worked very hard to control his curse. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
