History: He was born in the east. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, marred by sweets. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gilbert will drive conversation. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Gilbert was born the youngest of three triplets. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Lance was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Lance's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Jocelyn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
