History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Adelard was taken on many hunting expeditions. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
