Personality: He is fixated on the number 80. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Through the years after Ernest was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ernest's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Balimaar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Baker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Baker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to reunite with his absent mother
