History: Gilbert was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against orcs

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
