Personality: He is a Mercenary first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He worked as a nervous Mercenary and found it very stressful. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gifted student he started as a Seamstress, but he got bored and became a Unemployed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: Gunter is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Gunter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Geoffrey was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
