History: Hugh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Roger isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Roger lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Barber, but he got bored and became a Carpenter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

History: Aldous was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
