History: He comes from a rich southern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dean grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dean. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.
