History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Dean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Richard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Richard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
